YouTube Edition
Brief
With over 800 million videos to choose from, it's not always easy to find the best of what YouTube has to offer. We partnered with YouTube to help catalyse the next generation's journey of discovery.
Idea
Inspired by the lo-fi zines young people self-publish to express their ideas, we created Edition. The series invites emerging Gen Z tastemakers from different sub-cultures to share the YouTube videos that have informed and inspire them.
Scope
We developed the format and logo for the series, and drew from the maximalist, DIY aesthetic of the zine to create bespoke magazine covers and visual effects for each episode. Simultaneously, we oversaw the production of the 4-episode pilot, which welcomed Bree Runway, Big Zuu, Grace Beverley, and Stuntpegg & Sharkey.
